Senior Adult Services depends on the dedicated assistance of our volunteers, so that we can continue to offer the quality care for the seniors in Addison, Carrollton, Coppell and Farmers Branch.  During our 2006 fiscal year, volunteers donated 12,049 hours of service to Senior Adult Services.

Volunteers delivered over 10,416 home delivered meals and made repairs to more than 150 seniors' homes, in addition to providing office support, transportation, friendly visits, case management assistance, information and referral services and serving on boards and committees.

At Senior Adult Services our definition of a volunteer is a person who has chosen to give his or her time and talent to:

  • Supplement the contribution of our professional staff
  • Perform direct service to the community
Community support is an essential element in providing quality service to Senior Adult Services clients.
Our volunteers report that their experiences are fulfilling and challenging.

Interested in volunteering with Senior Adult Services.   We can use your time and talents to help improve the lives of seniors in our community.   Please plan to join us at an upcoming Volunteer Orientation.

Volunteer orientations are held the first Tuesday and third Thursday of the month at 4 pm at Senior Adult Services at 1111 W. Beltline Rd, #110 in Carrollton.    Click here for a map to our facility.

Home Repair Blitz
Well over two hundred volunteers donated over 1,800 hours during the Home Repair Blitz the week of June 11th. Projects included wheelchair ramp construction, house painting, fence replacement and yard work.
A special THANKS to everyone for their hard work and dedication!
