Services

No doubt about it, we live in a "car" area.  And, if you can’t drive, your life can come to a standstill. But, thanks to Senior Adult Services, area seniors can stay on the go and independent even when they no longer drive. Senior Adult Services uses both volunteer drivers in their own vehicles as well as two lift equipped vans to help seniors get where they need to go. Because of the demand, services are usually provided only within the cities of Addison, Carrollton, Coppell and Farmers Branch.

If you need to travel to a location outside these areas, please call to learn what resources are available for your particular destination. Rides may be requested for appointments scheduled between 9 and 3. The transportation program may be used for almost any purpose. Many requests are for medical appointments, but we also encourage riders to use our program to participate in social activities, run errands or visit friends. The cost of each one-way ride is $2.50. Fee may be reduced when there is a financial need.
