Home Delivered Meals

A home cooked meal is something most people take for granted. But for someone who cannot stand long enough to cook a meal, or can't open a can or jar, meal time can become frustrating and lonely. Additionally, the problem of poor nutrition can lead to worsening health. Our Home Delivered Meals program can help with delicious, restaurant prepared meals for either a short or long period of time.

Volunteers who deliver these meals also ensure that someone is checking on the senior at least once a day. We have a system to reach emergency contacts if the senior does not respond to the volunteer's knock.

The cost of Home Delivered Meals is $7.00, but a reduced fee is available for those who qualify. Meals delivered wekdays between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

You can truly make a difference in the lives of others by volunteering only a few hours each month to deliver noon meals and a friendly smile to local seniors who may find cooking very difficult. This volunteer position provides individuals, families and business or civic groups a great opportunity to give back to their community.
