Senior Adult Services has three professional staff members who provide individualized assistance to seniors. The goal is always to increase safety and quality of life while empowering the client to make good choices for themselves. Home visits are arranged to get to know a client's living situation and what support is available through friends and family members. An assessment is made of the senior's needs including health and healthcare, transportation, home safety and accessibility, and financial issues. After assessment, the Case Manager shares information about possible resources in the area, either those provided by Senior Adult Services or other providers. After the senior decides what assistance they would like to utilize, the Case Manager helps to set up services and checks back with the senior periodically to make sure that the services being provided are meeting the needs identified.
