Transportation


No doubt about it, we live in a "car" area and if you can’t drive, your life can come to a standstill. Senior Adult Services uses both volunteer drivers in their own vehicles as well as two lift equipped vans to help seniors stay independent and get where they need to go even when they no longer drive.  The transportation program may be used for almost any purpose. Many requests are for medical appointments, but we also encourage riders to use our program to participate in social activities, run errands or visit friends.

Riders must be enrolled in our program prior to making requests. The cost of each one-way ride is $5.00 (fee may be reduced when there is a financial need.) More information is available by calling the Senior Adult Services offices at 972-242-4464 or click here for contact information.
